DESCRIPTION:Es ist kein Zufall\, dass ausgerechnet eine Delegation aus Taicang die erste ist\, die 2024 München besucht. Denn Taicang gilt als DIE Heimat des deutschen Mittelstands in China. \nAufgrund der langjährigen Erfahrung mit ausländischen Unternehmen\, der Nähe zur Wirtschaftsmetropole Shanghai\, dem guten Netzwerk der Community und der langfristigen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten haben sich bereits über 500 deutsche Mittelständler\, u.a. renommierte Unternehmen wie Schäffler\, Krones oder EMAG\, in Taicang niedergelassen. \nBeim Businesslunch am 25. Januar möchte der Oberbürgermeister Taicangs\, WANG Xiaoyuan\, die Neuigkeiten aus seiner Stadt vorstellen. Jedoch geht es ihm in erster Linie darum\, mit deutschen Vertretern aus Wirtschaft\, Politik und Gesellschaft ins Gespräch zu kommen. Nevertheless\, the overall trajectory of the Chinese economy appears to be more restrained. As the new year has started\, it is crucial to assess the prospects for Chinese economic growth for 2024 and beyond. Are the real-estate crisis and the elevated youth unemployment mere isolated issues\, or do they signify deeper systemic problems? Will China return to a path of rapid growth? Is the “no politics\, no problem” bargain broken? And if yes\, how can the CCP fix it? These issues demand serious consideration. \nFurthermore\, as the international community\, particularly the West\, contemplates its response to China’s economic predicament\, what strategies should be adopted?
