Certain products require approval for sale\, or businesses risk import restrictions or being blocked entirely. To aid businesses in understanding these vital requirements\, IHK Nuremberg for Middle Franconia will be hosting a seminar on China certification requirements on September 10\, 2024. \nAgenda\nThis seminar provides a comprehensive overview of product certification in China\, catering to both newcomers and seasoned professionals. Topics covered include: \n\nOverview of the general conditions and organization in the People’s Republic of China (PRC)\nLegal basis\nRelevant authority structure\nStandards and guidelines\nChinese customs and controls on certification requirements\nIntroduction to general processes and fees for:\n\nCCC (China Compulsory Certification) and voluntary certifications for product safety of consumer and industrial products\nApprovals for medical devices\, medications and cosmetics by the NMPA authority\nManufacturer licensing from the SELO authority for pressure equipment\, such as boilers\, containers and pipelines and other special equipment and machines\n\n\n\nEvent details\nIn response to potential logistical challenges\, the event is planned as a face-to-face seminar but may transition to a webinar format if necessary.
