In Chinese characters, many words containing the radical „王“ are related to jade. The term “Lin Lang” (琳琅) refers to exquisite jade and symbolizes beauty and preciousness. The character “Lang” is also an onomatopoeic word that describes the crisp and melodious sound of jade colliding with stone. The title of the exhibition, Lin Lang, signifies a collection of beautiful and valuable works and talents. The exhibition brings together representative Chinese jewellery artists who are active on the international stage. Starting from the foundation of China’s jade culture, they explore new forms of expression for traditional culture through jewellery art. The exhibition presents a captivating fusion of multicultural ideas, where artistic collisions and harmonies create a stunning visual and conceptual movement. Duration of the exhibition: March 10–16.
